GP Practices are changing
From Monday 22nd October, repeat prescriptions can be ordered via our new Repeat Prescription Request Line on 01563 599300.
We will no longer be taking repeat prescription requests on our main line.
The Repeat Prescription Request Line allows you to leave a message day 24 hours a day.
Please ensure you leave the following information on our answering machine:
Your Name, Address, Date of Birth, Contact Telephone Number, Full description of the items you require.
If you telephone our main line, you will be asked to redial the above number.
This allows the practice to free up the lines for those requiring more urgent assistance.
For more information on how to order your repeat medication, including online, in person and by telephone, click on the Prescription tab above.
WHEN REQUESTING A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PROVIDE A PHARMACY SELECTION TO YOUR ONLINE PRESCRIPTION REQUEST.
Due to the current COVID 19 Situation we have had an unprecedented amount of prescription requests. We are doing our best to get your prescriptions done within the usual timescale.
We are trying to reduce the amount of people coming to and from the practice unnecessarily, therefore we are sending prescriptions to pharmacies for collection.
When ordering a prescription please let us know which pharmacy you would like your prescription to be sent to.
We have been advised by Community Pharmacy that it will take them 5 days to prepare a prescription, so please allow this extra time when ordering your prescription.
Prescriptions can be ordered online at www.londonroadmedicalpractice.co.uk or by calling our dedicated prescription line 01563 599300.
We thank you for your co operation, patience and understanding at this time as we aim to protect those most vulnerable.
